Cheron Scott- BSN, RN
Director of Nursing
Cheron is a registered nurse with three years of LVN experience and eleven years of RN experience. She has practiced in multiple settings from nursing homes, correctional health, acute care, LTAC, home health, to behavioral health with behavioral health being my favorite. She has four years of administrative experience as a CNO. She also has four years of leadership experience as a house supervisor in behavioral health. She completed her LVN and ADN at Dallas Nursing Institute. She completed her BSN at University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently pursuing her MSN in Nursing Education at the University of Phoenix. She loves nursing and people. She’s a single mother of six children. Her oldest works in Human Resources at a behavioral health hospital. Her oldest daughter is pursuing a degree in accounting. She has three other children in college, two on athletic scholarships and one still in high school. She is not an animal person, but unfortunately, she didn’t have the heart to say no to the dog, so she’s stuck with her. She enjoys comedy shows, stage plays, traveling, and reading.
